Dr. Frank Liguori is the medical director of two humane
societies and the owner of Babylon Animal Hospital.
Dr. Frank Liguori has been the Medical Director of the Little Shelter in
Huntington New York since 1990 when he was first approached by their
representative because they were going to have to close their doors
because they could not cope with the extraordinary veterinary bills they
were getting from the animal hospitals on the north shore of long
island.
Dr. Frank Liguori said he would volunteer his services at no
charge and the oldest humane society in Suffolk County was able to
remain open and continue saving dogs and cats. They were so grateful
that they asked him to be their medical director shortly after.
The next group that approached Dr. Frank Liguori was Almost Home
Rescue. They were a new branch of humane society made of some former
members of the Little Shelter but further east on long island. This new
and exciting group has had aggressive and determined members who go to
incredible lengths to save animals no matter how far or how difficult
the task may be.
All the surgeries for both these humane societies are
performed daily at Babylon Animal Hospital as well as medical care. |
